We are habitual beings. When we become accustomed to a particular behavior, we are inclined to continue doing so, even if it is detrimental to our well-being. Unfortunately, this is an inevitable reality. Throughout life, there are numerous instances of poor behaviors that have reached a point where we are compelled to change. More oftenly, we have an insatiable desire to be in a familiar and comfortable environment. The following is the truth about life. You cannot please everyone;  not everyone will be a fan of yours; some may even speak ill of you without knowing you personally. However, this is beyond your control; certain aspects of the world are beyond your control. They aren't obligated to like you; they may not even like themselves, which is why they are projecting their dislikes onto others with anger. Failure to impress someone does not equate full blown failure. For each person you impress, you'll disappoint someone else. And the identity that others assert about you is not indicative of your true self; therefore, do not be swayed by their assertions.
