Tale as old as time

Timeless Bonds: The Enduring Power of Love and Friendship Some things never go out of style. Like  love  and  friendship .  Across time, culture, and distance, these two forces remain the threads that connect us as human beings. They are the heart of our oldest stories and the quiet strength behind our everyday lives. In a fast moving world filled with fleeting trends and digital distractions, love and friendship remain beautifully consistent. While the ways we communicate may evolve from handwritten letters to video calls, perhaps, the depth of connection we long for does not! I remain profoundly grateful for the constants in my life. The women who have unwaveringly stood by my side through every ebb and flow. Even in moments when I’ve been difficult, impatient, or unreasonably stubborn, they have met me with grace, understanding, and an unshakable loyalty. Though we are each marked by our own imperfections and shaped by our differences, it is precisely ...

The Writer's Glow (A World Within Her Reach)

When the world’s weight drags her down, She seeks the glow, a sacred crown. Fingers fly on keys so bright, Her refuge found in screens of light. Each tap a note, each click a breath, A dance that staves off weary death. In pixels bright, her spirit sings, A world she molds, a world that brings. The chaos fades, the noise, the ache, As stories bloom, her heart will wake. A hero’s voice, a lover’s touch, Her soul finds peace, it means so much. Here, she’s fierce, here, she’s free, A spark that rises, bold and she. As dawn breaks in, a new day starts, The joy of writing fills her heart.

You transcend the assertions made by others about your identities

The following is the truth about life. You cannot please everyone;  not everyone will be a fan of yours; some may even speak ill of you without knowing you personally. However, this is beyond your control; certain aspects of the world are beyond your control. They aren't obligated to like you; they may not even like themselves, which is why they are projecting their dislikes onto others with anger. Failure to impress someone does not equate full blown failure. For each person you impress, you'll disappoint someone else. And the identity that others assert about you is not indicative of your true self; therefore, do not be swayed by their assertions.

Being a compassionate person  is futile, when one is  h consistently and unequivocally,  taken for granted. Equally futile, is your willingness  to continuously provide to those,  who persistently deplete assets  until you become superficial  and devoid of any further offerings.

It does get worse before it gets better

We are habitual beings. When we become accustomed to a particular behavior, we are inclined to continue doing so, even if it is detrimental to our well-being. Unfortunately, this is an inevitable reality. Throughout life, there are numerous instances of poor behaviors that have reached a point where we are compelled to change. More oftenly, we have an insatiable desire to be in a familiar and comfortable environment. It's just that we get uncomfortable when we're forced to do something out of our comfort zones.  It is worth noting that I often find myself contemplating certain phrases from the initial verse of the hymn "Sing and Be Happy" that we sang during our kindergarten years. It says, “There’s a silver lining that shines in the heavenly land. Look by faith and see it, my friend. Trust in His promises grand.” How extraordinary is the notion of a silver lining. It is so reassuring and, well, somewhat balmy. It is merely a pleasant, comfortable sensation. Particula...
